г.   Pursuit races In the Olympic Pursuit Ivan Tcherezov ranked 15th. Unfortunately three errors that he made during first second and third shooting sessions didn’t allow him to rank higher in the final result list. Maxim Tchoudov was the best Russian ranking 9th with 4 misses (two in the first prone and two in the last standing stance). Nikolay Kruglov ranked 11th shooting faultless during all the shooting sessions. Vincent Defrasne from France became the Olympic champion. Silver went to Ole Einar Bjoerndalen (Norway). Bronze – to German Sven Fischer. In the Women Pursuit Albina Akhatova won bronze medal with only one error in the second prone. Svetlana Ishmuratova ranked 4th with two misses (in the second and third shooting sessions). Olga Zaitseva came 19th (1 2 2 0). German Kati Wilhelm became the Olympic champion in Pursuit.
